ITALIAN FEST
October 22 2011 4pm-8 in the gym & October 23 takeout after Masses in the cafeteria. The Italian Fest is an 'all you can eat' Spaghetti Dinner to celebrate the Italian heritage at the parish and raise fund for the school. It also goes a long way to build community spirit.
The Italian Fest occurs annually the 2nd or 3rd Saturday night in October. Tickets are sold through the school and after masses. Much help is needed for prep work the few days prior to the dinner with decorating the gym, preparing the food and cleanup afterwards. The 7th and 8th grades have traditionally volunteered as servers and bus persons. CHRISTMAS CRAFT SHOW AND BAZAAR
November 19, 2011 This craft show is a highly anticipated event in the neighborhood by bringing the Christmas Spirit to many families. All proceeds benefit SHS.
The Christmas Craft Show is held the Saturday before Thanksgiving from 8:30am -2:30 every year. Local crafters are invited to rent a space for the day and the school sells food and raffle's items while also having 'grandmas attic' (gently used household items ) and children’s crafts. Each student at SHS makes an ornament or Christmas cards to sell at the event.
INDOOR FLEA MARKET
The last Saturday in February from 8:30am - 2pm SHS holds a robust and fun indoor flea market to raise fund for the school. Families are invited to rent a space and bring their flea market /garage sale type items to the school gym to sell. The school runs their own stand and sells simple food and baked goods. Proceeds benefit the school.
SPRING BENEFIT

WALK-A-THON
Ttraditionally held in May in conjunction with our school Field day at Buchanan Park, the Walk-a-thon raises funds for our Dividends for Technology fund.
The public nature of this large walk-a-thon raises community spirit and awareness of Catholic education.
Letters are given to each school family to be mailed out to obtain sponsorships from family and friends. Prizes are awarded to families based on participation.
