Mrs. Erin Ague has been with Sacred Heart School since 2004 as the 6th grade teacher.  Since as long as she can remember, she has always wanted to be a teacher and, even when she herself was in elementary school, she was always put in charge of helping other students.  Her dream started to come true when she completed her undergraduate degree in elementary education at Penn State University at University Park.  In 2009, she also received her graduate degree in library and information technology from Mansfield University.  Besides these two degrees, she is also certified to teach middle and high school English and middle school math which she currently teaches in the 7th and 8th grades. She loves teaching at Sacred Heart School because it is more like a family than a career due to its friendly community of faculty and students and faith-based curriculum.

Mary Anater became involved in Sacred Heart School when her son enrolled here for kindergarten. She immediately fell in love with the school and quit the practice of law to become the school’s Development Director. Future and current parents, alumni, parishioners and business partners all play a vital role in the success of Sacred Heart School. Through your support we can guarantee the tradition of excellence will continue. Every child should have the opportunity to experience Catholic education. It is the sacrifice you will never forget.

Mrs. Cindy Bomberger is no stranger to Sacred Heart School. You may have seen her Substitute Teaching in our classrooms for many years while her four children all attended Sacred Heart School. After a 15 year break from teaching, Mrs. Bomberger returned to classroom teaching here at Sacred Heart School in 2014.
Mrs. Bomberger graduated from Millersville University with a degree in Elem. Ed./Early Childhood Development. She than taught for almost nine years in the Hempfield School district, in both Pre-First and 2nd Grades. While at home raising her own children, she certainly kept busy teaching CCD here at Sacred Heart, helping with our Pre-school Sunday School program, and lending a hand as a parent volunteer. One of her favorite past projects was leading our summer Vacation Bible School program for 10 years.
She believes that the best thing about returning to teaching at Sacred Heart School is that she knows almost all the children in the school by name and they know her! Mrs. Bomberger feels blessed to be teaching in a family-oriented school community, where we show our love and respect for God every day.

As a Sister, Servant of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, whose main mission is the education of youth, Sister Mary Carmel has served in both North and South America as a teacher or principal. Sister Mary Carmel first met the Sisters during her own education when she had the privilege of being taught by the I.H.M.’s (as they are graciously called) in grade school, high school, and at Immaculata University where she earned her degree in education. Since then, Sister has received her master’s degree in Religious education. Though Sister has been honored for her dedication to Catholic education, she believes that her greatest reward and education has come from the goodness of parents, students, and teachers she has met through the years. Sister has been at Sacred Heart School since 2005 and looks upon each day as a blessing from the Lord.

Mrs. Ditzler’s career started at Sacred Heart School in 1985 as a volunteer when her two youngest children attended Sacred Heart School. A year later she started her employment part-time and then went full-time the year after that. She wears many hats as the secretary, sometimes a few at the same time. She enjoys seeing former students bringing their children to Sacred Heart School so they too can receive the quality education like they received. Former students also realize the value of a school with the IHM sister’s presence.

Mrs. Ditzler has been blessed with three children and three grandchildren, one of whom is a little saint in Heaven. One of her favorite charities is “The Drew Michael Taylor Foundation” which is for her grandson, Drew. This was created to honor his life and is serving many other children and their families who have also suffered a loss of a loved one in their lives.

Her two hobbies are jewelry making and jogging as a member of Drew’s Crew, both which benefit Drew’s Foundation.
